Description
In this work, I repainted it with a completely different theme ‘Purification’ on the work ‘Dance’ that I drew before.
I haven’t touched the dragon as before.
Both the unicorn and the dragon are fictional animals, and because they drew intertwined, it was a series of trial and error.

Title:Unio Mystica
Size:F30
Year 2011
oil on canvas

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2011.
The title is Unio Mystica.
This work is also Julie kitamura Ver. Of Botticelli’s ‘Birth of Venus’.
I expanded my image based on the image of Venus drawn by Botticelli.
Higher self is light, so there is no actual form, so I think that each embodiment is individual.
My name is Julie. 樹麗. It means that the tree is beautiful. I imagined cherry blossoms, a rose family with that feeling.
In addition, the angel’s wing = aura is drawn on the back of Venus, who is anthropomorphic of the higher self, so that it can be understood only by looking closely.
At that time, I didn’t know about chakras in detail, but I drew rainbow angel wings in the heart of the higher heart chakra.
In order to draw the cherry blossoms, I used the photos I actually took as materials, and the person model was posing with the hint of ‘the birth of Venus’ and looking in the mirror.

The clown symbolizes the artist herself.
Rose symbolizes love.
On the other swing, the other is taking a swing in a different direction.
All of this work, including the clown costume, is the artist’s original design.

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2008.
This work is a reproduction of the sight I had dreamed of on a canvas.
When I got up, I looked into an alchemy book to see what this meant, and found out that it was Serpens Mercurialis.

I read alchemy books to find out what I imagined, the meaning in my heart’s eyes, or for confirmation.
A face that emerges from the burning firewood.
A snake that crawls around.
Also, this work has eyes from the skin.

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2004.
When I feel painful, when I suddenly raise my face in the corner of a single room, a blue sky spreads in front of me,
When I watched it all over, it seemed that Ryujin came down from above and was thinking about me.
Ryujin is an upper-body figure, and most of the pictures that I actually saw were drawn.
In the image, Ryujin reached out to me and I took the back of Ryujin and traveled through the sky.
Ryujin saved my painful feelings. I am very grateful that Ryujin came to help me. I feel like a benefactor.
The left hand toward Ryujin is depicted as a ‘helping hand’.
Also, Ryujin is depicted as neutral, but depending on the viewer, it looks like a woman or a man.
It is also a feature of my painting that the skin of a person changes from the middle to the skin of a different creature.

Year 2009
oil on canvas
Private collection

Description
The feature of this work is that the skin on the right side of the face facing the front is changing into a wooden surface.
In addition, when I was making this work, I was strongly influenced by the fact that my relatives had operated on the stylus of the right eye and had a large eye patch, and the right eye of the picture became a cyborg-like expression. .
The roots of the tree are anthropomorphically drawn like human hands.

ART Singapore [Singapore]

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2007.
This work was used as an invitation for a solo exhibition.
Usually I access deeply to collective unconsciousness, but this work is relatively shallow and expresses my feelings toward an unreasonable real society.
I express the upper level of capitalism with reptiles that hold the person’s head down.
The image of reptiles is inspiration.
Also, what I expressed as a suppressed person is a commoner who has a family that must be protected and works seriously.

This model is the artist herself.
I draw by looking in the mirror and taking photos.
Gloves lace is also drawn with my favorite clothes race.
Dumbbell exercises are indispensable!

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2010.
A work depicting the dark world.
The feature is the eyes that appear on the cheeks to break through the skin of the person’s face.
This is my characteristic surreal technique and I use it in many other works.
This is the technique I came up with when I drew animals in another work.
This model was drawn by the artist herself looking in the mirror.
Most of my pictures are drawn with deformed eyes and hands.
It is also a feature of my painting that there are long nails, horns, and ears that are separated from humans.

Year 2006
oil on canvas
Planned group exhibition work

Description
Oil Painting by Julie Kitamura in 2006.
This work is the larger one of the 2 works in the Spelling Series.
I am tied to myself.
I expressed the spell with long hair and anthropomorphic negative consciousness that I created.
The anthropomorphic conscious body emerges from the person’s back.
The model of this person is drawn by looking at the mirror herself.
I asked a man to model a personified conscious body.
The feature of this picture is that the hair of the conscious body stretches upward, contrary to the long hair flowing under the woman.

Description
From the portfolio distributed in the solo exhibition
The original is a color work.
This skirt is my original design.
I have my own original expression that a dragon appears from the back, which is not normal.
In fact, I expanded the image based on the actual experience that I saw with my own eyes as the transparent white dragon came out of my body and soared into the sky.

EUROP’ART GENEVE [Switzerland]

Description
Oil painting by Julie Kitamura in 2007.
At that time, the image of this work was that I felt sick and felt pain in my chest and anxiety and fear of illness.
The image was passive and came from the other side.
I had the image that the cells were eroded by the sick.
The feelings of anxiety and fear became the energy that penetrated the skin and embodied in many corners.

Title:Cauchemar Bottom of Darkness
Size:F30
Year 2010
oil on canvas

Description
Oil Painting by Julie Kitamura in 2010.
In this work, I realized the energy of negative emotions breaking through the skin and expressing from the back and arms.
I can feel and see the movement of energy on the campus, so I will draw it with my heart.
It is a feature of my painting that the skin of a person changes from the middle to the skin of a different creature.
Since the mind and inner surface appear outside, I feel the flow of energy in the background.
In addition, this model is drawn by looking at the mirror by the artist herself.
Most of my pictures are drawn with deformed eyes and hands.
It is also a feature of my painting that there are long nails, horns, and ears that are separated from humans.
